It was a cold Christmas Eve night in New York City. People bustled down busy streets in order to get to a relative or friend's house for a home-cooked dinner and alcoholic beverages while carrying heavy tote bags filled with wrapped goodies for adults and children alike. Joyous holiday decorations lit up a family-friendly street with blinking Christmas lights and cheery Santa automatons, belting out 'Ho Ho Ho!' to passersby. But, there was one person who was dreading a certain family dinner.

maybe I should just head back to the Academy."
Keyblade-Brigade mentor, Trinity Teague, rubbed her arms through her jacket for warmth as she stood in front of her family's brownstone house. Even though she was outside with the traffic noise, she could still hear the loud, boisterous voices of her uncles and the calm, demanding voice of her mother. Squeals of laughter resonated through the stone walls, which made the orange-haired girl smirk.
