Some Important News!

Alrighty, guys, I've got a bit of news for you.

As you may have noticed, our beloved Savvy hasn't been around too much lately, and for that we can all blame her schoolwork and assorted activities! Go on, blame them, I know you want to. But because of how busy she's been and how little time she has had to dedicate to KBB, she has decided to step down from her duties here at the club. Sadfaces!

This isn't to say she is leaving, because she is not! She promises to come back at some point to rock out with you people, and really all that's changing with her is what she does behind the scenes in the club. That being said, Jim is still in charge! Just because Savvy's job isn't the same doesn't mean Jim--or ANYONE'S position has changed at all. He should still be treated as the founder of the Academy and all that.

To pick up where Savvy's job leaves off is our own WilliamSchatz. He now has essentially the same weight as I do on club matters, and he basically fulfills the job that Savvy is giving up. So if you're wondering what he's doing, picture what Savvy was doing...and superimpose it onto him. It's the same set of duties. And as you might imagine, his character's role is not changing either.

So it's a bummer to be losing dear Savvy's help in the club, but she is not lost to us by any means, and we should all wish her luck with her busy-ness and such so that she can eventually come back to us and have a big party with cake and puppies and lovemush.

On an only slightly related note, those of you who traverse the myriad pathways of the Nuverse may have noticed that Nu-Hybrid has recently changed hands, and it is now run by Will (of previously-mentioned-in-this-journal fame). Feel free to hop/skip/jump on over to see the renovations.

That's all for now, kids. We're working on getting to applications as fast as we can after this change-up, and hopefully art submissions will be attended to swiftly, too. Keep on rockin' in the free world!

Hey, all you members who have submitted art! If you sent in a note a while ago and your piece has yet to be posted, PLEASE RESEND IT! I think in some of the confusion for the past few months some pieces have gotten lost in our inbox, and it would really help if you could send your links in again. We'll post them A.S.A.P.!
